You have heard about the Hemsworth Brothers, the Olsen sisters, the Osbournes, the Kardashians and other celebrity families. While you cannot think of these celebrities without thinking of their family as well, there are also some stars who you might not expect are actually siblings. This is not too surprising to know, since siblings can share the same gorgeous genetic makeup and be stars in their own right as well. Here are some of our favorite duos whom you might not know are siblings.
Hallie and Jesse Eisenberg
Hallie Eisenberg had been a star in her younger years. You might remember her from “Bicentennial Man,” “Paulie” and “The Insider.” She also had appearances in a lot of Pepsi commercials and this had made her a very familiar face during that era.
Fast forward to 2016, her big brother Jesse Eisenberg would be young Lex Luthor in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Jesse is now the bigger star and was even nominated for an Oscar for his performance in “The Social Network,” where he played Mark Zuckerberg. Hallie is already retired from acting, but this gorgeous duo got to work together in “Holly Rollers” way back in 2010.
Dakota and Elle Fanning
These blonde beauties have stolen the hearts of millions since they were modeling and acting since they started walking and talking. Dakota had been a critically acclaimed child star for her stunning performances in over 30 films including “Twilight,” “Man on Fire” and “The Runaways.” Even Steven Spielberg himself called her an acting genius when they worked together.
A few years later, her beautiful sister Elle would grow up to be one beautiful lass and would bag large projects such “About Ray” and “Maleficent.” Surely, the Fannings are some of the most gorgeous and talented sibling duos in Hollywood and they both started out at such young ages.
Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi
Giovanni Ribisi had a long acting career and starred in critically acclaimed projects such as “Saving Private Ryan,” “My Name is Earl” and “Avatar.” Marissa did not have a career that was as prominent, but she had substantial roles in “Grown Ups” and “Dazed and Confused.” Marissa Ribisi is now retired from acting and had launched a fashion line called Whitley Kros in 2007. Having two siblings in Hollywood is not too surprising as their mother was a talent manager to writers and actors.
Ralph and Joseph Fiennes
Ralph Fiennes had a substantial number of roles in big Hollywood films. These include “Schindler’s List,” The English Patient,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and the Harry Potter series as Voldemort. Joseph, on the other hand, was seen in “Shakespeare in Love” and in the series “The Handmaid’s Tale.” They are two brothers out of seven children and their mother is also in the showbiz industry. She is the author of the novel “Blood Ties.”
Beyonce and Solange Knowles
If Beyonce is the queen and royal blood runs through her veins, then Solange could be next ob the throne. While Beyonce is already one of the most successful entertainers of her generation, little sister Solange is also a star in her own right. Whether they are on stage, on the red carpet or just having coffee, this duo is surely one of Hollywood’s most gorgeous and successful.
A lot of Hollywood A-listers might have their whole lives scrutinized carefully by some of the nosiest paparazzis and showbiz media. While you might know what they ate for breakfast and who they hang out with nowadays, there are just some details that manage to get away if you do not pay close enough attention. In this case, you might not even be aware that two of your favorite stars could share the same mom and dad. Who are your favorite celebrity siblings? Share with us your thoughts in the comments below!
