Everyone loves superheroes. That’s a fact. Every little kid has dreamed of becoming a superhero; stopping crime, fighting the bad guy, saving the city or even the whole world, and rescuing the damsel in distress. Either it’s Superman, Ironman, or Batman, it doesn’t matter who your favorite is because all of them went through some pretty awkward phases just like us. Kids these days only know the cool costumes they have today, so here’s a list of your favorite superheroes then and now.
Ironman is really cool because he has all those cool gadgets, and you’ve got to admit, we all wished we had one of his suits, but if you had his old suit, would you really want it?
It looked more like a ripoff of a Power Rangers villain than a technologically advanced suit. So we’re just glad that as Hollywood technology progressed, so did the design of one of our favorite superheroes. And must we say, Robert Downey Jr. is just the perfect Tony Stark!
Good thing the “Man of Steel” finally learned that the underwear goes inside of the pants.
Because it doesn’t matter how strong or fast or powerful he is, you just couldn’t take seriously a guy who wears his red briefs outside of his pants.
Batman is arguably the most popular superhero, even though he doesn’t have any superpowers. He goes toe to toe with super-powered villains that are capable of wiping out the entire planet, and he was even able to beat Superman in more than one occasion. But apparently, no matter how cool he is today, Batman, just like his buddy Superman, didn’t know how to put on his underwear. Good thing Ben Affleck is doing a pretty good job as the Dark Knight, saving Gotham City and the entire world.
Thor, the son of Odin, the god of thunder, and future ruler of Asgard, had a pretty lame costume before. He looked like a teenage Viking that can’t even grow a beard.
Good thing Thor decided to ditch the helmet and armor with hair for the cool badass armor that Chris Hemsworth wears today. His hair still looks fabulous, though.
The Hulk was already a pretty big guy since Lou Ferrigno was a two-time Mr. Universe, but the Hulk now looks like he eats steroids for breakfast. So other than buffing up and gaining a few tons, the not-so-jolly green giant hasn’t changed much since. And mad props to the guys who did the CGI, since the Hulk looks so much like Mark Ruffalo; it just may seem like a disadvantage because it’ll be easier to figure out that Bruce Banner is the Hulk. Well, Superman doesn’t even wear any masks but people don’t seem to figure it out, so the Hulk should be okay.
Wonder Woman before had that 70’s hair and colorful costume. And why is it that her costume looked so much like an American flag, but she’s an Amazon warrior/princess, and that’s not really a part of the United States of America. Anyway, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is now wearing a suit that just says “I’m a warrior, but I can also be a supermodel” and we just love it.
Spider-Man before looked more spider than man. It seems like he hasn’t been eating his vegetables. But now, three different actors has become your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man; Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and most recently Tom Holland. Who’s your favorite web slinging, wall crawling hero?
Which hero symbolizes freedom more than Captain America? He saves America and the entire world. With his indestructible shield, he protects the weak and the innocent. But, before Chris Evans became Captain America, the old Cap didn’t look like he was a super soldier; he looked like your regular guy, running around in a red and blue jumpsuit throwing a painted trash can lid. Are you guys excited for Avengers: Infinity War, because we sure are.
