Jane Fonda pursued an acting career and earned numerous awards and accolades, owing to her vast fields of talent. Fonda made her acting debut with the play There Was a Little Girl (Broadway) which fetched her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play and made her screen debut in the romantic comedy Tall Story in the same year.

In 2005, she made a comeback to acting after taking a fifteen-year break and starred in the feature film Monster In Law. The classic charm and beauty of French star Brigitte Bardot were well-known across the globe. Shirley earned an Oscar for the movie, Terms Of Endearment. Her acting prowess has earned her acclamation all over. A fascinating fact about her is that she was named after popular actress Shirley Temple. She tied the knot once but filed for a divorce in 1982.
